## Synopsis

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (2022-2023) is a Japanese mecha anime series created for MBS, TBS and other regional broadcasters, produced by Sunrise. Set in the Ad Stella 122 era, when corporations dominate space, it follows Suletta Mercury, a lone and gentle girl from the remote planet Mercury, as she transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology run by the Beneritt Group. Her pilot's bond with a sentient Gundam draws her into rivalries with the school's wealthy heiress Miorine Rembran, voiced by Lynn, whose engagement to Suletta turns a contract into a complicated bond. Kana Ichinose voices Suletta, and Yohei Azakami voices Guel Jeturk, a pilot with his own loyalties. The engine of the series is a tug between corporate ambition, hidden motives and the tense competition of duels and battlefield sorties, presented across a single twenty-four episode season. Its tone mixes gentle school life with brutal mecha combat, a bittersweet melancholy and a fondness for emotional honesty. Fans of the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass and Revolutionary Girl Utena will find resonance in its political intrigue, youthful pilots and heroine-driven romance.
