## Synopsis

The Kill Point (2007) is a American crime thriller miniseries created by James DeMonaco for Spike. A small crew of military veterans, led by Jake Mendez (John Leguizamo) and Horst Cali (Donnie Wahlberg), plans to rob a major bank in Pittsburgh. When the job goes wrong, they are forced to take more than a dozen hostages from every walk of life, including the daughter of a wealthy and powerful businessman. Lt. Connie Ruebens (Michael Hyatt) and Ashley Beck (Christine Evangelista) add further pressure to the standoff, and the story unfolds as a single limited run of eight hour-long episodes. Each installment tightens the vise, with tense negotiations, shifting loyalties, and dwindling options inside a bank that is slowly becoming a siege. The tone is gritty and tense, with a bleak, claustrophobic edge and a sense that every decision could be the last. Fans of Heat, Dog Day Afternoon, and Prison Break will find resonance in its grounded crime pressure, its desperate characters, and its relentless escalation. The series offers a focused, adrenaline-driven viewing experience for anyone who enjoys suspense built on a single location and a ticking clock.
