## Synopsis

Star and Sky: Star in My Mind (2022) is a Thai national-television romance drama created by Mamiao for GMM 25, produced by GMMTV, and adapted from a novel. Daonuea (Natachai Boonprasert) once confessed his feelings to his high school crush Khabkluen, and was gently turned down on the last day of school. Years later at university he finds that Khabkluen (Archen Aydin) is one of his dormmates, and the two must share a daily life that reopens old feelings. Supporting roles include Prince (Jiruntanin Trairattanayon), Sean (Kittiphop Sereevichayasawat), Typhoon (Phanuroj Chalermkijporntavee) and Nay (Thanawin Pholcharoenrat), whose friendships fill the campus scenes. The engine of the show is the question of what happens when a person finally stops loving someone and that someone begins loving them back, played out through small dorm routines, quiet conversations and the awkwardness of old wounds. Told across two seasons of eight episodes each, the series stays a single continuing romance with flashbacks to the high school confession. Its mood is soft, wistful and warm, with a hopeful undercurrent of second chances. Fans of Bad Buddy, Still 2gether and Heartstopper will find similar gentle campus tenderness and first love longing.
