## Synopsis

Man vs Bee (2022) is a British comedy series created by Rowan Atkinson and William Davies for Netflix. Rowan Atkinson stars as Trevor Bingley, a bumbling dad house-sitting a posh mansion, who tries to outwit a cunning bee but only unleashes more chaos. Supporting principals include Jing Lusi as Nina, Julian Rhind-Tutt as Christian, and Greg McHugh as Coleman, with Tom Basden appearing as a police officer. The engine of each episode is simple: Trevor's clumsy plans to get the upper hand on the insect keep backfiring, spiraling into property damage, social embarrassment and mounting frustration. Told in a single season of nine short episodes running around eleven minutes each, the series is a miniseries built on physical slapstick rather than dialogue, with precise visual gags and escalating set pieces. Its tone is breezy, silly and cozy, a light family-friendly farce in the tradition of British sitcom absurdity. Fans of Mr. Bean, Fawlty Towers and Home Alone will find resonance in its sustained physical comedy and the pleasure of watching a hapless man undone by his own overreactions.
