## Synopsis

El Inmortal: Gangs of Madrid (2022-2026) is a Spanish crime drama series created by José Manuel Lorenzo for Movistar Plus. Across three seasons and twenty fifty-minute episodes, it fictionalizes the story of Los Miami, a criminal organization that controlled the cocaine trade in 1990s Madrid. Álex García plays José Antonio Ortiz, a working-class figure whose social climb tracks his rise in the underworld, alongside Emilio Palacios as Sebas Ortiz, Marcel Borràs as Rober, and Teresa Riott as La Rubia. The engine of the story is ambition pressed against loyalty and rivalry: each season tightens the grip of the gang while the cost of every gain grows heavier. The storytelling is serialized, with one continuing thread across the seasons, and it is built from negotiations, betrayals, and violent reckonings in the city's nightclubs and back rooms. The mood is downbeat and gritty, in the spirit of Italian crime sagas, with a sharp sense of class and the hollow glitter of money and celebrity. Fans of Gomorrah, Narcos and Peaky Blinders will find resonance here in its moral grime and its portrait of a criminal rise that never quite escapes the streets it came from.
