## Synopsis

Jane Eyre (1983) is a British BBC One period drama miniseries created by Barry Letts, adapted from Charlotte Brontë's novel. Zelah Clarke plays Jane, an orphan who leaves a bleak childhood behind to become a governess at the isolated Thornfield Hall in the English countryside.
