## Synopsis

Weak Hero (2022-2025) is a South Korean school drama series created by Yoo Soo-min and Han Jun-hee for Netflix and wavve. Following a Korean webtoon, it centers on a gifted but introverted high school student who, with the help of unexpected friends, confronts bullies and violent rivals. Park Ji-hoon plays Yeon Si-eun, the quiet protagonist whose sharp mind and surroundings become his weapons, while Choi Hyun-wook plays Ahn Su-ho and Hong Kyung plays Oh Beom-seok, both drawn into his orbit of loyalty and rivalry. The engine of each episode is a confrontation: a schoolyard humiliation, a gang threat, a plan to turn the tables on those who think him weak. The show runs across two seasons and sixteen episodes of roughly eighty-four minutes each, one continuing story rather than a case of the week. Set in a contemporary Korean high school milieu, it plays as a brutal, emotionally heavy drama shaped by fight choreography and the fragile bonds between friends. Fans of Believer and All of Us Are Dead will find resonance in its school violence, its cycle of retaliation, and its intense youth friendships.
