## Synopsis

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (2024) is a United States adult animated superhero comedy created by Patrick Schumacker, Dean Lorey and Justin Halpern for Max. Set in Gotham City, the series follows Kite Man, a lovable loser voiced by Matt Oberg, and his new partner Golden Glider, voiced by Stephanie Hsu, as they moonlight as criminals to pay for their foolish purchase of Noonan's, a seediest-in-town dive bar. The engine of the show is simple and chaotic: the pair must keep the bar running while juggling petty heists, rival costumed villains and the bar's regulars, with Jonathan Banks voicing the bar's gruff namesake Noonan. Its ten episodes are self-contained, case-of-the-week style outings built around sight gags and irreverent jokes at the expense of DC lore. Janelle James and James Adomian add further voices, and a handful of guest turns bring in familiar Batman villains. The tone is crude, sardonic and irreverent, with a deliberately lowbrow edge that plays off the contrast between a glossy comic book universe and the grubby bar setting. Viewers who enjoy adult animated superhero send-ups in the vein of Harley Quinn and Invincible will find a similar appetite for profane, self-aware humor. The series was canceled after one season.
