## Synopsis

The Secret World of Santa Claus (1997-1998) is a French animated children's series created by Prakash Topsy and Christian Choquet, produced by CinéGroupe and Marathon Productions. Across a single season of twenty-six short episodes, each roughly twenty-five minutes long, it follows Père Noël (voiced by Benoît Allemane), the legendary Santa Claus, as he runs his secret operation at the North Pole with a small circle of helpers. Folki (Thor Bishopric), Thoren (Mélanie Dermont) and Gilfi (Aurélien Ringelheim) support him as the everyday business of making and delivering gifts unfolds in a hidden world that ordinary people never see. The stories are self-contained, gentle adventures built around the rhythms of the holiday season rather than a single continuing plot. The tone is warm, whimsical and cozy, with a comforting wonder aimed at young viewers. Syndicated internationally and typically rebroadcast each December, it has become a seasonal ritual on channels such as Teletoon and France 3. Fans of The Year Without a Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will find similar festive charm here.
