## Synopsis

As the Crow Flies (2022-2024) is a Turkish prestige drama series created by Meriç Acemi and distributed on Netflix. Its protagonist Lale (Birce Akalay) is a seasoned news anchor whose world is disrupted when a young fan, Aslı (Miray Daner), maneuvers her way into her newsroom. Kenan (İbrahim Çelikkol), Müge (İrem Sak) and Gül (Defne Kayalar) orbit this uneasy relationship, and the power dynamics among them shift as ambition, envy and the desire to be seen take hold. The engine of the series is the contest for visibility inside a fiercely competitive television news operation, where every on-air moment, alliance and betrayal carries professional stakes. Each season follows a continuing storyline across eight episodes, so the drama builds steadily rather than resolving in standalone cases. The contemporary Turkish media setting gives the story its immediacy, with deadlines, camera lights and ratings battles shaping the daily routines of its characters. The tone is tense and psychologically sharp, with a bitter undercurrent of rivalry and a steady focus on how people treat one another when fame is at stake. Viewers who enjoy The Newsroom, All About Eve and Succession will find resonance in its portrait of ambition, image and power. Its three seasons form a complete, ended arc.
