## Synopsis

Mr. Good: Cop or Crook? (2022) is a Norwegian true crime docuseries released on Netflix. Across four roughly fifty-minute episodes, it follows investigators who begin to suspect Norway's top police officer, Eirik Jensen, of drug trafficking. The engine of the series is a single pointed question: is this decorated officer a good cop who has been wrongly targeted, or a major criminal hiding behind a badge? Each episode builds the case through the methodical unfolding of evidence, interviews, and the uneasy mechanics of an internal investigation, so the viewer is pulled into the same doubts that consume the people chasing him. The shape is that of a single contained case, a limited run told as one continuous inquiry rather than a case-of-the-week format. Set in present-day Norway, the atmosphere is sober and procedural, with a suspenseful, slow-burn tone that keeps weighing competing readings of guilt without rushing to a verdict. Viewers who enjoy Making a Murderer, The Staircase, and The Jinx will recognize the same appetite for real-world ambiguity, institutional distrust, and the discomfort of a story where the accused may be the authority figure everyone trusts.
