## Synopsis

The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious (2022) is a Japanese anime romantic comedy adapted from a manga and produced by SILVER LINK. and BLADE. The story follows a smitten employer who hires a maid whose beauty, flawless cooking and uncanny ability to anticipate his wishes convince him that she must be using magic. Voice cast includes Saori Hayami as Yuuri and Rie Takahashi as Lilith, with Yui Horie as Tsukasa Gojouin, Mikako Komatsu as Fujisaki and Miyu Tomita as Natsume Nakashima rounding out the principal players. Across a single eleven-episode season, each episode is built from small domestic situations in the household, where ordinary chores and awkward encounters repeatedly turn into misunderstandings fueled by his suspicions. The tone stays light, playful and breezy, with a flirtatious undercurrent that keeps the mystery teasing rather than threatening. Fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Rent-a-Girlfriend will find a similar blend of lovestruck escalation and comedic misreading, while Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun offers a related gentle, quirky romance. It suits viewers who want an easygoing, comforting romcom with a supernatural wink and a short, easy-to-follow run.
