## Synopsis

Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head (2022-present) is a United States adult animated sitcom created by Mike Judge for Comedy Central and Paramount+. Mike Judge voices both title characters, Beavis and Butt-Head, two teenage heavy-metal fans whose boredom regularly launches them into idiotic schemes. Their world is a loose collection of short episodes, each around eleven minutes, built on the pair's dim, dismissive verdicts that everything is either cool or sucks. Guest voices from Jimmy O. Yang, Stephen Root, Laraine Newman and others populate the stories, giving the revival a rotating supporting cast. The show runs four seasons so far, with 83 episodes, and it operates as a standalone comedy rather than a continuing drama, so each episode is its own absurd misadventure. The tone is screwball, irreverent and deadpan, with a sharp streak of satire that gives the slacker chaos a cutting edge. Fans of South Park and King of the Hill will find resonance in its crude, bluntly satirical take on suburban boredom, and viewers of the original 1993 run will recognize its distinctive attitude.
