## Synopsis

Beast Tamer (2022) is a Japanese anime series produced by EMT² and broadcast on TOKYO MX, adapted from a light novel and running for a single season of thirteen episodes. Rein Shroud (voice by Shoya Chiba), a beast tamer kicked out of a hero's party for being useless, sets out to build a carefree life as an adventurer. His engine is simple: he wants a quiet living, but his gentle nature keeps drawing him into trouble. When he meets Kanade (voice by Azumi Waki), a cat-eared girl from one of the most powerful tribes, he forms a contract with her and her strength quickly makes him a name. Supporting roles include Tania (Rumi Okubo), Sora (Minami Tanaka) and Stella (Rie Takahashi), who gather around him as his reputation spreads. Each episode unfolds as a self-contained adventure of monster hunts and guild tests, with a light comedic rhythm and a warm, affectionate register. The mood is breezy and cozy rather than grim, with a hint of harem-comedy playfulness. Fans of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and KonoSuba will find a similar lighthearted isekai appeal.
