## Synopsis

Dragon Age: Absolution (2022) is a United States animated sword and sorcery series created for Netflix, produced by Red Dog Culture House and BioWare. Its ensemble of misfits is led by Miriam, voiced by Kimberly Brooks, and Qwydion, voiced by Ashly Burch, who are pulled into a dangerous quest to steal a powerful artifact from a sinister mage. Phil LaMarr voices Roland, and Josh Keaton voices Rezaren Ammosine, with the group's shifting loyalties and personal entanglements driving each episode. The engine of the story is a heist-like mission against a formidable magical adversary, with demons, dangerous sorcery, and ruthless factions raising the stakes. Across a single six-episode season of roughly 26-minute installments, the series moves briskly through its adventure while keeping an emotional thread of relationships and found loyalty at its core. Its tone is adult and frequently grim, with a serious, moody register that leans on tension rather than comedy. Set in an invented fantasy world drawn from the Dragon Age games, it sits in the tradition of mature animated fantasy such as Arcane and The Dragon Prince, appealing to viewers who want darker, character-driven adventure. The season leaves its central quest open at the close, so fans of video game adaptations and adult animation will find this a quick, atmospheric entry point into the Dragon Age universe.
