## Synopsis

Oddballs (2022-2023) is an American animated comedy series created by James Rallison and Ethan Banville for Netflix. Bubble-shaped James, voiced by James Rallison, questions anything and everything that annoys him, and his two best friends, Max (Julian Gant) and Echo (Kimberly Brooks), are pulled into the chaos his irritation sets off. The engine of each episode is simple: a small everyday grievance snowballs into a strange escapade, with odd side characters voiced by Harland Williams, Gary Anthony Williams and Carl Faruolo popping in along the way. The show runs for two seasons and twenty short episodes of roughly nineteen minutes each, a light serialized-feeling but largely self-contained run that plays as a playful, breezy cartoon. Its tone is goofy, bright and feel-good, with a warm friendship core under the absurd gags. Fans of Adventure Time, Gravity Falls and The Amazing World of Gumball will find a similar blend of surreal humor and loyal friendship. The series was canceled after its second season, and its audience reception has been mixed.
