## Synopsis

Adamas (2022) is a South Korean crime thriller series created for tvN and produced by Studio Dragon, a single-season limited run of sixteen 75-minute episodes. Twin brothers Woo-sin and Soo-hyun, played by Ji Sung in a dual role, lose their father to a murder case and return twenty-two years later determined to clear his name. Their search is pushed forward by a reporter, Eun Hye-soo (Seo Ji-hye), and a prosecutor-adjacent circle of allies including Kim Seo-hee (Lee Soo-kyung), while a shadowy secret organization keeps moving pieces out of sight. The engine of the series is a steady accumulation of clues, false leads and buried files, with each episode peeling back another layer of a conspiracy that reaches into wealthy and powerful households. The mood is tense, layered and morally heavy, built on paranoia and the strain of family loyalty. Viewers who enjoy intricate Korean mysteries and Stranger-style legal intrigue will find resonance here, and fans of Signal and Twin Peaks will recognize its appetite for long-buried secrets. Its plotting rewards close attention, since subplots and cross-timeline reveals are dense, and the result is a sober, absorbing puzzle about justice, identity and the price of truth.
