## Synopsis

The Most Hated Man on the Internet (2022) is a American documentary miniseries produced for Netflix, a three-episode limited series of roughly fifty-nine minutes each. Charlotte Laws, a persistent mother, is the driving force, alongside her daughter Kayla Laws and her husband Charles Parselle, while the site's notorious founder Hunter Moore appears as himself and former girlfriend Kirra Hughes also features. The engine is a single determined goal: Charlotte wants her daughter's photographs removed from a revenge porn website, and every obstacle the site and its operator throw up becomes another step in an online crusade to shut the operation down. Each episode follows the escalating campaign through confrontations, online battles and the personal toll on a family caught in the spotlight. The tone is angry, tense and unsparing, a true crime exposé that treats internet cruelty as a real harm to real households. Set in the American internet culture of the early 2010s, it sits in the vein of Trapped in the Closet and The Social Dilemma for viewers drawn to documentaries about online harm and digital vigilantism. Expect a mix of archival footage, interviews and raw family drama that rewards full attention.
