## Synopsis

Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023) is a South Korean psychiatric drama series created by Lee Ra-ha, JQ Lee and Lee Nam-kyu for Netflix, a single-season limited series of twelve roughly hour-long episodes adapted from a webtoon. Park Bo-young plays Jung Da-eun, a kind-hearted nurse on a psychiatric ward who goes well beyond her duties to be a ray of light for the patients in her care, while Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon and Lee Jung-eun round out the principal ensemble of colleagues and patients. The engine is her persistent effort to reach people who resist help, with each episode built from small clinical and personal crises on the ward and the emotional toll they take on the staff. The story unfolds as a single continuing arc across its season, moving between patient rooms, nurses' stations and the lives that spill outside the hospital. The tone is tender and hopeful yet grounded and frank about mental illness, with moments of heaviness balanced by quiet humor and warmth. Fans of Hospital Playlist and It's Okay to Not Be Okay will find resonance in its humane approach to care, its ensemble warmth, and its willingness to sit with pain without losing hope.
