## Synopsis

La mujer del diablo is a Mexican telenovela-style romantic crime drama created by Carlos Bardasano, Carlos Andrés Cock Marín, Leonardo Padrón and Abel Solis, produced by W Studios and TelevisaUnivision Mexico and streamed on ViX. Schoolteacher Natalia Vallejo dedicates herself to developing local tourism, while Cristo Beltrán plays the generous benefactor to those in need even as he runs criminal schemes beneath that charitable image. Cristo becomes fixated on Natalia and goes to extreme lengths to win her over, and the tension between her principled life and his manipulative pursuit drives the story. Supporting characters add family pressure and rivalries around the central couple. The series runs three seasons across twenty-six episodes, told as one continuing story in which secrets and betrayals accumulate. Its tone is melodramatic and intense, with romantic longing, danger and moral ambiguity. Fans of Betty la fea, Dark Desire and You will find resonance in its blend of obsessive romance and criminal menace, set in a small Mexican tourist community.
