## Synopsis

TamilRockerz is a 2022 Indian crime drama series created by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam for SonyLIV. Set in contemporary Tamil Nadu, it follows a determined police officer, Rudra (Arun Vijay), as he chases an anonymous group of cyber pirates who threaten to leak a highly anticipated film starring a massively popular star. Sandhya (Vani Bhojan) and Bhanu (Vinodhini Vaidyanathan) are among the principal figures around him, and the supporting cast includes Vinod Sagar as Nelson. Each of the eight episodes of roughly half an hour moves the investigation forward through digital trails, sharp interrogations and the mounting pressure of a release that cannot be stopped without finding the hidden hands behind it. The series is a single-season, tightly paced piece of crime storytelling built around the anxieties of an industry where a leaked film can cost fortunes. Its tone is tense and brisk, with a grounded, urban realism and a steady sense of procedural momentum. Viewers who enjoy the cyber-crime tension of Mr. Robot, the layered investigations of Sacred Games, and the taut police pursuit of Breathe will find a familiar appetite for pursuit and paranoia here. The story ends on a cliffhanger rather than a settled resolution.
