## Synopsis

Hear Me (2022) is a Turkish teen drama and mystery series created for Star TV, the Turkish national broadcaster, and presented as a single twenty-episode season of roughly 130-minute episodes. Its protagonist is Ekim Güleryüz (Rabia Soytürk), a high school student from a humble neighborhood whose best friend Leyla (Helin Kandemir) is struck in a hit-and-run. The car vanishes into a prestigious private school attended by the city's richest kids, and when neighbors demand justice the school responds by handing scholarships to three studious teenagers from the neighborhood, Ekim among them. Ekim, alongside Bekir and Ayşe, finds that her new life is harder than she expected, and she refuses to let the matter drop. Her conviction that the culprit is one of her classmates drives a hunt through the school's privileged circles, with suspicion falling on students such as Kanat Günay (Caner Topçu) and Selim Bender (Berk Hakman). Each episode juggles schoolyard pressure, family strain and a growing romantic pull that unsettles her resolve. Set in contemporary Istanbul, the show is a melancholic, emotionally charged drama with a sharp awareness of class and loyalty. Fans of Skam, Elite and Gossip Girl will find resonance in its blend of youthful romance, social inequality and secrets among teenagers.
