## Synopsis

Bee and PuppyCat (2022) is an American adult-oriented animated slice of life comedy created by Natasha Allegri and produced by OLM and Frederator Studios for Netflix. Bee, a scatterbrained, big-hearted young woman voiced by Allyn Rachel, impulsively takes in PuppyCat, a strange, lovable creature who becomes her constant companion. Her goal is simple but elusive: find out what she is meant to do with her life. Her attempts keep stumbling into trouble at a magical temp agency, where each assignment drops her into a bizarre interdimensional job with its own absurd rules and odd characters. The single season of sixteen short episodes is built from these self-contained misadventures, with light serialized threads running underneath. The tone is breezy, whimsical and warm, with a dreamy, neon-soft look and a gentle melancholy about drifting through early adulthood. Fans of Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gravity Falls will find a similar mix of surreal humor and tender friendship.
