## Synopsis

Argentine National Team, Road to Qatar (2022) is an Argentine documentary miniseries created by Gonzalo Arias for Prime Video. Across six hour-long episodes, the cameras follow the Argentina national football squad as it works toward the World Cup in Qatar, opening doors to dressing rooms, training grounds and team meetings. Lionel Messi appears as himself alongside head coach Lionel Scaloni, Ángel Di María, Rodrigo De Paul, Lautaro Martínez and goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, all presented in their own words rather than through scripted drama. The engine of the series is the grind of the road itself: qualifiers played under pressure, the Copa América, the Finalissima and the daily rhythm of match preparation, with the central question being whether a team carrying a nation's expectations can come together in time. Its shape is a single, self-contained season that moves from match to match, giving fans an intimate look at tactics, team bonding and the weight of national pride. The tone is intimate, reflective and celebratory, with a documentary realism that rewards anyone who loves the beautiful game. Fans of All or Nothing and Drive to Survive will find resonance here, along with the spirit of The Last Dance.
