## Synopsis

Another Self (2022-2026) is a Turkish television drama created by Nuran Evren Şit and produced for Netflix, presented as a three-season serialized drama of 24 episodes. Ada (Tuba Büyüküstün) and her two closest companions, Sevgi (Boncuk Yilmaz) and Leyla (Seda Bakan), arrive in a seaside town hoping to reconnect with their inner selves, only to find that the wounds of their families' pasts rise to the surface as quickly as their spiritual searching begins. Each episode moves through present-day encounters and flashback-tinged memories, with the engine of the series being the slow excavation of inherited patterns and the question of whether a painful cycle can be broken. Fikret (Rıza Kocaoğlu) and Toprak (Murat Boz) help widen the circle of relationships, and the drama leans on intimate confrontations rather than spectacle. The tone is contemplative and emotionally raw, with a melancholic undercurrent softened by moments of hope and a strong sense of place created by the coastal setting. Viewers who enjoy introspective family dramas in the vein of The Leftovers and Big Little Lies, or the mystical undertones of Twin Peaks, will find resonance here. Its therapy-inspired storytelling gives it a distinct, reflective weight for adult audiences.
