## Synopsis

The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998-1999) is a Canadian syndicated dark fantasy action series created by Bryce Zabel and spun off from the Crow film franchise. Mark Dacascos plays Eric Draven, the murdered rock musician who returns from the grave to set things right, reprising the role Brandon Lee created in the 1994 film. Each of the series' 22 episodes follows Eric as he tracks the criminals responsible for violence against the innocent, drawing on martial arts and a supernatural power to hunt them down. Katie Stuart plays Sarah Mohr, a figure caught in the aftermath of his return, and Marc Gomes plays Detective Darryl Albrecht, a police officer whose investigations cross paths with Eric's. The stories unfold as a self-contained single-season run of roughly forty-two-minute episodes, with a gothic atmosphere, rain-soaked city streets, and brooding melancholy shaping the tone. Its mix of revenge, grief, and mythic justice gives it a grim, stylized register. Fans of The Crow, Forever Knight and Highlander: The Series will find resonance in its dark, supernatural vigilante mood and its moral urgency.
