## Synopsis

The Veil (2024) is a US limited series created by Steven Knight for Hulu, a six-episode spy thriller built around two women in a deadly game of truth and lies. Elisabeth Moss plays Imogen Salter, who carries a secret, opposite Yumna Marwan as Adilah El Idrissi, the woman tasked with exposing it before thousands of lives are lost. The engine is a road journey from Istanbul to Paris and London, where each leg tightens the pressure and every alliance and betrayal can shift the outcome. Dali Benssalah and Josh Charles appear among the principal players, and the intelligence operatives in the shadows are the controllers at the CIA and French DGSE, who must set aside rivalry and work together. The atmosphere is tense and paranoid, with a sober, cold-eyed register and a focus on cross-border deception rather than spectacle. Viewers who enjoy Homeland, Tehran and Spooks will find a similar appetite for morally slippery state intelligence, shifting loyalties and a single, relentless storyline told across one compact season.
