## Synopsis

Class of '07 (2023) is an Australian survival drama series created by Kacie Anning for Prime Video. Eight episodes of roughly thirty-five minutes each make up this single-season limited series. When an apocalyptic tidal wave hits during the ten-year reunion of an all-girls high school, the attendees must fight to survive on the island peak of their old campus. Emily Browning plays Zoe, with Caitlin Stasey as Saskia and Megan Smart as Amelia among the principal women whose old rivalries, loyalties and resentments resurface under pressure. The engine of the show is simple: the group needs shelter, food and a way to outlast rising water, while long-buried grudges and secrets flare up with every decision. Each episode tightens the grip of the flood and the claustrophobia of a shrinking refuge, while flashbacks to school years add emotional weight. The tone blends tense catastrophe with sharp, wry humor about adult friendships. Fans of Lost, The Last of Us and Big Little Lies will find resonance in its mix of survival stakes and female ensemble drama.
