## Synopsis

Outlander: Blood of My Blood (2025-present) is a STARZ historical romance drama series created by Matthew B. Roberts, serving as a prequel to the Outlander saga. Harriet Slater plays Ellen MacKenzie and Jamie Roy plays Brian Fraser, two fated lovers whose paths are pulled apart by forces that refuse to let them be together. Alongside them, Jeremy Irvine as Henry Beauchamp and Hermione Corfield as Julia Moriston Beauchamp anchor the second couple, whose story stretches from the battlefields of World War I to the rugged Highlands of eighteenth century Scotland. The engine is simple and emotional: each couple wants to hold on to love while war, family loyalty and political danger keep forcing them apart. The series is told across two seasons of ten episodes each, unfolding as one continuing saga with twists of time and place rather than standalone cases. Its atmosphere is lush and romantic, with wartime grief and PTSD sitting beside sweeping Highland landscapes. Fans of Outlander, Downton Abbey and The Time Traveler's Wife will find resonance in its blend of period drama, longing and devotion across eras.
