## Synopsis

Delicious in Dungeon (2024) is a Japanese seinen anime series produced by TRIGGER and aired on AT-X and TOKYO MX. Adapted from the manga, it follows the adventurer Laios (voiced by Kentaro Kumagai) as he leads a small party, including the mage Marcille (Sayaka Senbongi) and the halfling Chilchuck (Asuna Tomari), into a cursed buried kingdom to rescue his sister from a monstrous dungeon. Their supplies are scarce and their time is limited, so the group has to hunt, prepare and cook the strange creatures they encounter, turning every fight into a meal. The engine of the show is simple: survive the dungeon's traps and monsters while keeping the rescue on track, and the comedy comes from earnest gourmet obsession played against lethal danger. Each episode mixes sharp fantasy combat with cozy, wry cooking sequences. Its tone is witty and whimsical, with a deadpan warmth that suits fans of Konosuba and Made in Abyss. The single season runs 24 episodes of a continuing quest, making it a sprawling, good-natured fantasy adventure for viewers who enjoy food, monsters and a sense of wonder.
