## Synopsis

Land of Women (2024) is a Spanish television drama thriller series created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Paula Fernández and Teresa Fernández-Valdés for Apple TV. Eva Longoria stars as Gala Scott, a New York City socialite who flees her old life with her mother and daughter and lands in a quaint Spanish town. Her fresh start tangles her with Amat (Santiago Cabrera), a brash but charming winery owner, and pulls her into a deep well of family secrets that the townspeople would rather keep buried. Gala wants a safe place to rebuild, but every new friendship and every glass of local wine seems to open another door to the past. The story unfolds across a single six-episode season of roughly forty-four minutes each, a compact serialized drama in which each episode peels back another layer of local loyalties and private betrayals. Set in present-day rural Spain, among vineyards and cobbled streets, the series blends glossy escapist atmosphere with a slowly tightening sense of unease. Its tone is sun-drenched yet secretive, and its emotional pull lies in a woman's search for belonging. Fans of Big Little Lies, Desperate Housewives and Money Heist will find resonance in its polished surfaces and hidden histories.
