## Synopsis

Let's Talk About CHU (2024) is a Taiwanese television comedy-drama miniseries created by Wu Mei-chih for Netflix. Chan Tzu-hsuan stars as Chu Ai, a part-time vlogger who uses her channel to speak candidly about sex, only to find that the subject grows far more complicated once it touches her own love life and family. Kai Ko plays Chou Ping-ke, and JC Lin plays Chu Yu-sen, among other principal figures whose lives and relationships pull against her public persona. The engine of the show is the gap between what Chu Ai is willing to say to her online audience and what she is willing to admit to the people around her, with each of its eight roughly fifty-minute episodes built from everyday situations, awkward conversations and personal reckoning. Presented as a single self-contained season, it is a limited series with a frank, warm and wry register, where humor sits beside real embarrassment and tenderness. Its atmosphere is that of a contemporary Taipei-set young adult story, intimate and conversational. Fans of Sex Education, Fleabag and Insecure will find resonance in its candid treatment of intimacy, identity and the distance between public confidence and private vulnerability.
