## Synopsis

May I Help You? (2022) is a South Korean drama series created by Lee Seon-Hye for MBC, a single-season run of sixteen episodes. Lee Hye-ri plays Baek Dong-joo, a newly hired funeral director who can briefly revive the recently deceased and must grant their final wishes or face a string of bad luck and accidents. Lee Jun-young plays Kim Tae-hee, a man for hire at the newly opened errand company A Dime A Job, run by his uncle Vincent (Lee Kyu-han). Their paths cross when he is hired to break up with her on behalf of her boyfriend, and afterward their jobs keep throwing them into life-and-death situations tied to the dead's unfinished business and a painful shared past. Supporting roles include Song Deok-ho as Seo Hae-ahn and Han Dong-hee as Tak Chung-ha. Each episode builds around a concrete errand, a funeral, or a revived corpse with a request, so the show moves from odd jobs to tearful reckonings. The tone blends gentle humor and romance with melancholy about mortality, and it treats death as something shared across faiths, touching on Catholic confession and Buddhist belief. Fans of Hotel Del Luna and Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds will find resonance in its warm supernatural melodrama, while viewers who enjoy Mr. Sunshine's blend of humor and historical feeling may also connect with its emotional register. Set in contemporary Seoul.
