## Synopsis

What Should a Woman Do If... (2022-2024) is a Russian comedy-drama series created by Aleksandr Tsypkin for Okko. Anna, a successful lawyer played by Elena Lyadova, boldly announces she wants a husband for three months to manage a demanding project and her personal needs. Two polished suitors reach the final round of her selection, a young technocrat pedant and an older, carefree businessman, and both are played by Gosha Kutsenko and Anton Filipenko in roles that keep her choices lively. Her plans collapse when her son returns from England with a Pakistani daughter-in-law and a granddaughter, and Anna must decide whether she needs a partner at all or a place in a new family. The show runs in short, roughly fourteen-minute episodes across two seasons and sixteen episodes, with a light, wry tone that blends sharp romantic banter with warm multigenerational humor. Its engine is the gap between Anna's controlled ambitions and the messy emotional life she never planned for. Fans of Sex and the City and Grace and Frankie will find resonance in its candid take on midlife dating, career women and family reinvention, all set in contemporary Moscow among professional circles and domestic comedy.
