## Synopsis

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses is a Japanese animated romantic comedy adapted from a manga, produced across two seasons of twelve episodes each. Hayato Kasukabe inherits his late grandmother's failing seaside café and plans to sell it quickly, but he discovers five women living there who beg him to keep it open. Shiragiku Ono, Riho Tsukishima, Ami Tsuruga and Akane Hōōji pull him into daily café chores, rivalries and awkward domestic moments. The engine is simple: Hayato wants out, the women want him to stay, and each episode builds from small service mishaps, customer encounters and growing affection. The series stays a light slice of life with a harem framework. Its tone is breezy, cozy and gently comic, with a fan-service undercurrent and little real conflict. Viewers who enjoy Is the Order a Rabbit?, Love Hina and Kiniro Mosaic will find familiar, warm and lightweight domestic comedy here, best suited to relaxed viewing rather than deep emotional stakes or complex storytelling throughout.
