## Synopsis

Mi Secreto (2022-2023) is a Mexican telenovela created by Marissa Garrido for Las Estrellas, produced by TelevisaUnivision. Macarena García plays Valeria, a woman who takes on the identity of her friend Natalia after a tragic accident convinces everyone that Natalia is dead. Hoping to escape a false accusation, Valeria settles into the Moncada estate, where she falls for Mateo, played by Diego Klein. Isidora Vives plays Natalia, whose unexpected return threatens everything Valeria has built. The engine of the series is the constant pressure of a borrowed life: every new revelation risks exposing the lie, and every conversation within the family carries the weight of old betrayals. Told across a single run of one hundred twenty hour-long episodes, the story moves through romance, family conflict and the consequences of deception in the classic melodramatic register of the telenovela tradition. Its tone is emotional and heightened, with swelling romance, tearful confrontations and sharp reversals. Set in contemporary Mexico City, it is an accessible, serialized soap for viewers who enjoy identity swaps and wealthy family intrigue. Fans of Ha llegado una intrusa, La usurpadora and Rubí will find resonance in its melodrama and its patient unfolding of secrets.
