## Synopsis

Behind Your Touch (2023) is a South Korean mystery miniseries created by Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Sok-yun for Netflix and JTBC. Han Ji-min plays Bong Ye-bun, a psychic veterinarian whose ability to read emotional residue from objects becomes an unusual asset, and Lee Min-ki plays Moon Jang-yeol, a detective who needs her help. Alongside them, Suho as Kim Seon-woo, Joo Min-kyung as Bae Ok-hee, and Lee Seung-joon as Cha Joo-man fill out a cast of police colleagues and townsfolk. The engine of the story is a partnership forged out of necessity: the pair work small-town cases involving missing animals, suspicious deaths and local grudges, and each lead is tested by their own limits and the people around them. Over sixteen hour-long episodes the cases gradually converge into a serial killer investigation that grows darker and more personal. The series is a single continuing story with a self-contained case rhythm, a limited run that moves between playful banter and genuine menace. Its tone blends quirky character comedy with unsettling suspense, and its rural Korean setting gives the mysteries a close, communal feel. Fans of Medium and The Mentalist will find resonance in its supernatural crime-solving approach, while viewers who enjoy Korean crime dramas will find its mix of humor and dread especially rewarding.
