## Synopsis

Tyler Perry's Zatima (2022-present) is a US streaming relationship drama created by Tyler Perry for BET+ and Paramount+. Its central figures are Fatima Wilson-Taylor, played by Crystal Hayslett, and Zachary Taylor, played by Devale Ellis, a couple trying to take a meaningful step toward strengthening their bond. Their plans keep running into new friends and the consequences of past decisions, and the emotional engine of each episode comes from how those outside relationships pull at what the couple has built. Supporting characters Angela, played by Nzinga Imani, and Deja, played by Jasmin Brown, along with Bryce, played by Remington Hoffman, and Nathan, played by Cameron Fuller, bring new friction into the central romance. The show runs as a serialized soap opera across four seasons and seventy episodes, with each season building on unresolved tensions between friends and partners. Its tone is melodramatic and emotionally heightened, with a steady undercurrent of romantic longing, jealousy, and loyalty tested by secrets. Fans of Tyler Perry's The Oval and Being Mary Jane will find familiar territory in its soapy, relationship-centered drama set in a contemporary American city.
