## Synopsis

The Mole (2022-2024) is an American reality competition series broadcast on Netflix, hosted by Alex Wagner. Twelve contestants, including Avori Henderson, Casey Lary, Dom Gabriel, Jacob Hacker and Pranav Patel, take part in team challenges that add money to a shared pot, but one player has secretly been designated the Mole and is tasked with quietly sabotaging the group's earnings. The engine of each episode is suspicion: players must decide who to trust while the pot grows, and the one who outlasts the rest must expose the saboteur to win the prize. The show unfolds across two seasons of ten episodes each, structured as a single running game rather than standalone case files, so its arc depends on the cumulative build of accusations and alliances. Its tone is playful and tense, with a steady undercurrent of paranoia and interpersonal strategy. Fans of Survivor and Traitors will find resonance in its blend of group challenges, social deduction and elimination-driven betrayal.
