## Synopsis

Run for the Money (2022) is a Japanese reality game show available on Netflix, produced by Fuji Creative Corporation. Across a single four-episode season, celebrity contestants including ELLY, Hiroe Igeta, Yoshito Okubo and Miku Kanemura are pitted against black-clad Hunters in a race against the clock. The engine is simple and urgent: each runner tries to outmaneuver the pursuers and survive until the cash prize, which grows as the chase goes on, can be claimed. Game master Jiro Sato presides over the proceedings, and each episode runs close to an hour of physical chases, hideouts, and escapes staged across open locations. The tone is breezy and absurd, a loud spectacle that leans on exaggerated stakes and playful stunts rather than grit. Viewers who enjoy battle royale formats and high-energy Japanese variety television will find the same appeal here, in the vein of Takeshi's Castle and Squid Game without the dystopian weight. It suits an easy group watch or a light evening of competitive fun.
