## Synopsis

Shark: The Storm (2025) is a South Korean action noir series created by Kim Geon for TVING, adapted from a webtoon. Kim Min-seok plays Cha Woo-sol, a young man whose life is remade after he meets martial arts champion Jeong Do-hyeon, played by Wi Ha-jun, inside a juvenile prison. Around them orbit Hyeon Woo-yong (Lee Hyun-wook), Bae Seok-Chan (Jung Won-chang) and Lee Won-joon (Bae Myeong-jin), whose loyalties and rivalries pull Woo-sol deeper into the criminal world he is trying to outrun. The engine of the story is a fighter's need to build a new identity while violence, debts and old enemies keep dragging him back. Each episode is built around brutal confrontations, tense negotiations and bruised personal bonds, all moving through a single self-contained season of six episodes. The show is a gritty, propulsive take on the underworld, with a moody, rain-soaked neon texture and a raw sense of masculine pride. Its tone is harsh and emotionally charged, with moments of hope surfacing amid the brutality. Fans of Vincenzo, Bloodhounds and Hwayi: A Monster Boy will find resonance in its blend of crime, fists and street-level redemption.
