## Synopsis

Pepsi, Where's My Jet? (2022) is an American true-events documentary miniseries released on Netflix, a four-episode limited series of roughly 42 minutes each. It follows John Leonard, a twenty-year-old who tries to claim a fighter jet he believed he won in a Pepsi sweepstakes, and the legal fight that follows against the beverage giant. Its participants appear as themselves, including Leonard, his mother Linda Leonard, investor Todd Hoffman, and former Pepsi creative director Michael Patti, recounting their own memories of the promotion, the advertising campaign, and the court battle. The engine is simple and stubborn: a young man with little money and a signed-looking promise against a corporation with unlimited legal resources, with every episode built from interviews, archival footage, and paperwork. The show moves briskly across its four episodes and stays grounded in the mechanics of contracts and courtrooms. Its tone is wry and incredulous, with an undercurrent of sympathy for the underdog and a sharp eye for corporate arrogance. Set in the 1990s advertising world, it will appeal to viewers who enjoyed the twisty real-life sagas of Dirty John, The Dropout, and Fyre, and to anyone who likes a true underdog story told at a steady pace.
