## Synopsis

Tombstone Territory (1957-1960) is an American western series created for ABC and later syndication, starring Pat Conway as Sheriff Clay Hollister and Richard Eastham as Harris Claibourne, who also narrates the stories. Allison Hayes plays Carole Thayer, and Quentin Sondergaard appears as Deputy Sheriff Quint across the run. The engine of the series is the everyday work of keeping a frontier town orderly: a sheriff confronts outlaws, land disputes, and personal grudges, with each episode a self-contained case of the week. Over three seasons and ninety-one half-hour episodes, the show moves steadily through familiar western trouble, from saloon brawls to stagecoach threats. Its tone is earnest and straightforward, with a clean moral order and a warm, communal feel typical of classic television westerns. Fans of Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and Have Gun - Will Travel will find the same mix of narrated frontier justice, lawmen stewardship and episodic town drama. Set in the 1800s American Old West, the series remains a dependable example of late 1950s western television.
