## Synopsis

Lockwood & Co. (2023) is a British supernatural adventure series created by Joe Cornish for Netflix, adapted from the young adult novels by Jonathan Stroud. Psychic teenager Lucy Carlyle (Ruby Stokes) joins a small ghost-hunting agency run by the confident Anthony Lockwood (Cameron Chapman) and the methodical George Karim (Ali Hadji-Heshmati). Together the three take dangerous contracts in a London where spirits lurk in old houses and forgotten sites, and where their survival depends on sharp instincts, improvised gear, and trust in one another. Each case gives the team a self-contained haunting to unravel, with the agency's rivalries and bruised friendships running through the season. Inspector Barnes (Ivanno Jeremiah) and the official investigators view the young agents with suspicion, adding friction to every job. The single season of eight episodes, each around forty-three minutes, mixes brisk action with eerie atmosphere and a wry, youthful humor. Its tone is spooky yet cheerful, with a grounded London texture. Fans of Stranger Things, Ghosts and Buffy the Vampire Slayer will find a similar blend of teen camaraderie and supernatural danger.
