## Synopsis

Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom (2022) is a Netflix true crime miniseries created by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. Across three episodes of roughly fifty-eight minutes each, it revisits the 2004 killing of a brutal predator who was lynched inside a courtroom. Rather than centering the perpetrator, the series follows the community he terrorized, giving voice to the people whose fear and grief shaped the events that followed. Cast members Happy Kalizpuria, Lajari Kale, Shubham Ugale, Aditya Wankhede and Snehalata Tagde appear in the dramatized portions alongside the wider account of the town. The engine of the story is the slow accumulation of local anger and the reckoning that comes when ordinary people decide that the courts will not deliver justice. Each episode lays out the chain of events in a measured, unflinching manner, with tense courtroom sequences and hard-edged reconstructions. The result is a sober, unsettling and emotionally heavy viewing experience, closer to the case-file rigor of Making a Murderer and The Staircase than to sensational tabloid storytelling. Fans of grim real-world justice dramas will find resonance here, and the series rewards close attention to how a community can turn grief into vengeance.
