## Synopsis

Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022) is an Indian crime miniseries created by Neeraj Pandey and released on Netflix. Honest police officer Amit Lodha (Karan Tacker) pursues a merciless criminal, Chandan Mahto (Avinash Tiwary), through a deadly chase across Bihar, while senior officer Mukteshwar Chaubey (Ashutosh Rana) and a web of local power brokers complicate every move. The engine is a manhunt where the lawman must outmaneuver not only a ruthless gangster but also the political patronage and institutional rot that shield him. Across seven episodes of roughly fifty minutes each, the series builds tension through tightly staged operations, shifting alliances and the constant threat of betrayal from within the force itself. Its tone is gritty and tense, with a moral weight that grows as compromises pile up. Set in contemporary Bihar, the story captures the lawless textures of a state where criminal networks and political favors blur together. Fans of Sacred Games and Paatal Lok will find resonance in its grounded Indian crime storytelling, corruption-soaked atmosphere and the cat-and-mouse pull between cop and kingpin.
