## Synopsis

Citadel: Diana (2024) is an Italian-American spy thriller series created by Alessandro Fabbri for Prime Video. Matilda De Angelis plays Diana Cavalieri, a double agent for the secret syndicate Citadel who has infiltrated Manticore, the rival agency that destroyed her organization years earlier. Lorenzo Cervasio plays Edoardo Edo Zani, the heir of Manticore Italy, whose possible alliance becomes the tension that drives the story. Trapped behind enemy lines, Diana wants a way out of the agency for good, but every move risks exposure, and each episode is built from covert meetings, stylish infiltration, and the dangerous choice of whom to trust. The series runs for a single six-episode season in a near-future Milan of glossy hotels, sleek corridors, and sharp tailoring. Its tone is tense and polished, with an emphasis on atmosphere and surface style over deep character intricacy. Fans of Alias and the Citadel series will find a similar pull of globe-spanning espionage and a female operative caught between rival powers, though the show leans more toward slick glamour than grounded intrigue, and it ends with its central conflict still open.
