## Synopsis

Found (2023-2025) is an American crime drama created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll for NBC, produced by Berlanti Productions. Shanola Hampton plays Gabi Mosley, a former missing person who now runs a crisis management team that searches for people who have disappeared, many of them people of color whom the system has too easily neglected. Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh and Arlen Escarpeta round out the principal cast, with Mark-Paul Gosselaar appearing in a recurring role. The engine of the show is the hunt itself: each case pulls the team into family stories, overlooked neighborhoods and bureaucratic indifference, while Gabi privately carries a dark secret that threatens everything she has built. Across two seasons of serialized investigation, the series alternates procedural fieldwork with a growing personal reckoning. The tone is tense and earnest, grounded in the realities of missing persons work and the inequities that shape who gets searched for. Viewers who enjoy Mare of Easttown, Missing and other character-driven investigative dramas will find a similar emotional weight. The series ran for two seasons on NBC before its cancellation.
