## Synopsis

Destined with You (2023) is a South Korean romance drama series created by Nam Ki-hoon and Noh Ji-sul for JTBC. Rowoon plays Jang Sin-yu, a lawyer bound by a centuries-old curse, whose life becomes entangled with Lee Hong-jo (Cho Bo-ah), a civil servant who holds the key to his freedom. Their relationship is the engine of the sixteen-episode run: he wants release from an inherited bond, she is pulled into a world she never chose, and every obstacle sharpens the pull between them. Each episode blends workplace scenes in modern Seoul with the weight of a supernatural destiny, so the romance unfolds through both professional friction and private longing. Supporting performances from Ha Jun, Yura and Lee Tae-ri widen the web of relationships around the leads. The tone is tense and emotionally charged, mixing romantic yearning with fatalistic dread and moments of warmth. Fans of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Lawless Lawyer will find resonance in its fated love and courtroom-adjacent drama. It is a single, self-contained season of one continuing story, a standalone limited romance rather than an ongoing series.
