## Synopsis

Bullet Bullet (2025) is a Japanese original net animation series created for Disney+ that blends action and science fiction in an anime style. Set in a near future where civilization has collapsed, it follows Gear, a scavenger who works in a junk shop retrieving stolen goods alongside Qu-0213 and White Bear. Voiced by Marina Inoue as Gear, with Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma, Rie Kugimiya as Nosa and Kana Hanazawa as Kau among the principal cast, the story kicks off when the crew accepts a mysterious request to steal an important item. The engine of the show is the escalating chase that follows, as the thieves are pursued by deadly assassins while trying to stay one step ahead of their hunters. Across a single season of twelve episodes, each roughly twenty-five minutes long, the series unfolds as one continuing story with vehicle-heavy set pieces and a steady rhythm of pursuit and improvisation. The tone is gritty and fast, with a sense of weariness about a broken world and the small loyalties that keep its outcasts together. Its mood sits between scruffy camaraderie and tense danger. Fans of Cowboy Bebop, Psycho-Pass and Dorohedoro will find resonance in its stylized action and bleak future.
